[Masterclass] 100 Days to Credibility: How New CISOs Build Trust, Culture, and Strategic Impact
Olivier Busolini
Olivier Busolini
Olivier Busolini is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with over 30 years of experience, including more than 25 years in information security leadership, and is widely recognized for his ability to align cybersecurity with business strategy and operational resilience. He currently serves as Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Mashreq Bank in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The first 100 days as a CISO are decisive; not because of tools or controls, but because they determine trust, credibility, and long‑term influence.

In this interactive masterclass, Olivier Busolini shares hard‑earned lessons from his own CISO journey, focusing on what really matters when stepping into the role for the first time. Participants learn how to read organizational culture, build trust with executives, and set the foundations for strategic impact, without overpromising or moving too fast.

Rather than frameworks or technical deep dives, this session centers on leadership, judgment, and decision‑making in the early phase: How to listen before acting, how to prioritize wisely, and how to position security as a credible business partner from day one.

This masterclass is designed for CISOs who want to get the first 100 days right so everything that follows becomes possible.

After the session, participants will understand what really matters in the first 100 days as a CISO. They will know how to build trust with executives and peers, and be able to read organizational culture and power structures. They will be able to avoid common early mistakes that undermine credibility and leave with a clear mental model.

Ideal for:

  • Newly appointed CISOs in their first role
  • CISOs within their first 1 - 2 years, looking to recalibrate their approach
  • Senior security leaders transitioning into executive or board‑level responsibility
  • Heads of Information Security preparing for a future CISO role
  • CISOs operating in regulated, complex, or international organizations
